Anyone with a version of XMLTV: Alter that has expired can download the latest version from our download page.
Sorry for the delay in a response, but work is killing me … I’ve even had to put off a climbing trip to Thailand because of mountain of commitments!

Hello banger
I downloaded the latest version from the download page.
Uzipped then copied over the previous version.
Unfortunately the same issue still exists.

Hi Bryce,
I seem to be able to run it OK. What happens if you just run it from a command prompt?

Thanks Banger. Hope the climbing trip eventually comes off.
This seems to keep happening though – any chance that perhaps the decision to time-cripple the software gets revisited, or even, *cough*, a move to open source? I know you’ve explained the reasoning in the past for time-limiting the software (although I understood it was because the software was pre-1.0), but it now seems to be a rather vulnerable point of failure where all it takes is for you to get swamped with work in 12 months time and the code stops working.
Thanks for the fix, though and hope things ease up soon!
Cheers,
Rob.

It’s o.k.
Moments after posting I deleted the old files.
Rebooted the system and copied the new files to their irrespective folders.
Have everything working normally again.
Thank you, for updating the files and making a positive impact in the world of epg.

xmltvalter has expired again, a year to the day I think from the previous expiry. Can you PLEASE release a version that doesn’t have an expiry date? Pretty Please
